So far this is the funniest Geronimo Stilton book that's come up out. My daughter and I were laying in bed constantly laughing over this book.
Geronimo, Thea, Benjamin and Trap are invited to the Stingysnout Castle past Uncle Samuel for a anniversary, but Geronimo tin't get Samuel to tell him what kind of ceremony information technology is. So Geronimo and his crew testify up to the Stingysnout castle fifty-fifty though they are all dreading the visit. They don't like to get to the castle because of how stingy uncle Samuel is.
When Geronimo arrives Uncle Samuel is crying and keeps bravado his nose on Geronimo'due south clothes so he tin can save his tissue.
Uncle Samuel is somewhat consoled, though, because of the lightning storm that was going on. Samuel says, "I admittedly admire this weather! You come across, when lightning strikes, there'south no need to turn on the lights and nosotros can save money on our electric bill!" When Geronimo, wanting to get out of the rain, points out that its raining cat's and dogs, Samuel says, "fantabulous! There will be no need to have a shower and we can salve money on our h2o beak!" This book was about Geronimo Stiltons grandfather and he invites the Stiltons to his castle and he says his friend died and they are going to coffin him the adjacent morning. Geronimo Stilton sleeps and goes to become tea. He finds his sister doing the same thing, and together they look in the tomb to see if there was a body. They call back there is no body considering nobody knows in that location grandfathers friend except his grandfather so they open the lid it was empty. Did he come to life, or was it all faux. I liked illustrated books. I am besides old for it, but I still practise. I read all the Gerionimo Stilton books in the library, in 2015. All the books I have read in the series, amused me immensely. and the illustrations are really nice.

Geronimo visits the haunted castle endemic by his uncle. He is made to clean the castle, that part was actually funny. And of couse, that is followed past an adventure.

Having previously read the outset ii Geronimo Stilton books, Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye and The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid (albeit in inverse gild), back when he was five, my at present-six-year-erstwhile and I recently decided to give this book (which is actually #46 in the series) a go.
While the first two books were decent mysteries, different in tone from the drawing show, in part considering of the employ of Geronimo every bit narrator, this one breaks the mould (unless this break happened somewhere between book two and this point, plain), and non in a skillful way. Geronimo is withal narrator, but while the championship, The Haunted Castle, seems to imply another mystery yarn, this fails to actually materialise. Sure, there is a castle, and a potential mystery (if non really a haunting) in the making, just this is preempted before the volume'south halfway bespeak, where it flails a little scrap, simply to then attempt to romance stories of rather different types.
In all honesty, any of these stories could probable accept been turned into a actually good read, merely the fragmentation and the lack of narrative focus gets the better of the volume. And it is a problem that it never lives up to what it sells itself equally: i.e. a mystery involving a haunted castle.
The book, Geronimo Stilton: the haunted castle was very good and was written quite well. The author works a lot of humor into which I similar. I have read a lot of these books throughout the years, and this was probably one of my favorites. Each book in the series is on a completely different topic which is cool because it mixes things upward and makes information technology more enjoyable to read. This one was most how Geronimo and his family unit got invited to a fake funeral by his family friend that live in a haunted castle. He realized that the coffin seamed very light when he accidentally ran into it. Information technology turned out that there was never even a person in there, and the person that he claimed to have died, was never even a person in the kickoff identify. Overall I thought that this was a smashing book.

He answered my friend died and we are going to bury him tomorrow. They all head to bed. Geronimo Stilton tries to go to slumber but he can't. He goes to the kitchen to get tea. He finds his sister and cousin doing the same thing. Together they become check the tomb, because they think there is no body because nobody know there uncle'southward friend.They open up the tomb and detect it empty.Did the trunk come up to life, or was it all fake. Find out in GERONIMO STILTON THE HAUNTED CASTLE. PS it was a great book the book level is 4.1.
It hurts to have to give a Geronimo Stilton volume 2 out of five stars, but I really couldn't give this particular story a college rating. We Love Geronimo in our firm, including all the spinoffs (Spacemice, Micekings, Cavemice, etc.) We chose to read The Haunted Castle as office of the Halloween Flavour. Nosotros thought it would be a fun little chilling story for the season.
We were disappointed at all-time. It started off promising, simply the Haunted Castle business concern lasted almost half the volume (if that) and nosotros wound up in a love story and a wedding. My 5 year old was convinced I wasn't "reading it right" and my 3 year old kept trying to remind me that "this is supposed to exist about a Haunted Castle."
Okay, okay. I take to admit a grudging adoration for these books. For one matter, my six-yr old loves them. But they are too actually kind of funny--a cut above the usual pun humor in early chapter books. And the visuals and rich cast of characters requite a lot of access to the stories. The Stingysnout family is pretty hilariously depicted. To be honest, I think the page my son pores over the virtually, though, is the one at the end picturing the covers of all the Chiliad. S. books!
